Hi! I’m Danielle—the planner behind The Borrowed Bridesmaid. I’m based in Dallas, PA, and I created this business because I believe your wedding day should be filled with joy, presence, and the people you love… not logistics.

I fell in love with planning while organizing my own wedding and quickly realized how much happiness I get from helping others bring their vision to life. I’m detail-obsessed in the best possible way and truly enjoy getting to know each couple—learning what matters most to them, what inspires them, and how they want their day to feel. My favorite part of this work is transforming all of that into a celebration that feels deeply personal and unforgettable.

I work with couples throughout Northeast Pennsylvania and beyond, up to three hours from Scranton—including Philadelphia and New York City. Whether you’re looking for full-service planning, day-of coordination, or help with all the pre-wedding festivities (like showers, bachelorette weekends, or your rehearsal dinner), I’m here to make the entire process smooth, stress-free, and enjoyable.

What’s the difference between day-of coordination and full planning?

With day-of coordination (Something Old), you plan the wedding and I take over the logistics: vendor management and communication, bridal party and timeline oversight, ceremony and reception flow, and on-site problem solving. Full planning (Something Blue) adds full wedding planning assistance, vendor recommendations and meetings, budget guidance, detailed timeline creation and rehearsal coordination, plus complete day-of coordination.

How much does a wedding planner cost?

My packages are listed above: pre-wedding events start at $1,000, day-of coordination is $2,000, full planning with day-of coordination is $5,000, and full planning with day-of coordination and pre-wedding events ranges from $6,500 to $8,000.

Where do you work?

I’m based in Dallas, PA, in the Back Mountain, and I work with couples throughout Northeast Pennsylvania, including Scranton, Wilkes-Barre and the Poconos, and beyond, up to three hours from Scranton, including Philadelphia and New York City.

Can you plan just our bridal shower, bachelorette party or rehearsal dinner?

Yes. Something New covers the planning and execution of a bridal shower, bachelorette party and/or rehearsal dinner, including vendor communication, timeline creation, and day-of setup, coordination and breakdown.

Can we combine wedding planning with our pre-wedding events?

Yes. Something Borrowed combines full planning and day-of coordination with planning for one pre-wedding event, with the option to add more events.

Our venue has its own coordinator. Do we still need a planner?

A venue coordinator looks after the venue: the space, its staff and its schedule. I look after you and the whole day, including outside vendors, the timeline, the bridal party and everything that happens beyond the venue’s walls, and I work alongside the venue team.
